Data Federal Corporation is looking for an experienced  Javascript/.NET Developer to join our product development team in Columbia, Maryland. 

Data Federal is a professional services firm focused primarily on serving the federal government. The right candidate understands the federal domain and the unique challenges that federal agencies encounter.

Position Description

The ideal candidate has the desire to develop strong, user friendly business applications using Javascript and associated frameworks. They will also adapt to different responsibilities, execute a wide variety of tasks, respect teammates, and show a passion for self-improvement.

Our development environment uses a variety of technologies including Javascript with Angular components, Microsoft SharePoint, Java, Web Services with a .NET backend, However, the candidate will also have the opportunity to support other projects such as a Sharepoint Front End to promote continued learning and development. Ongoing development and career advancement is an integral part of the role as well as having well-developed client relations skills.

Responsibilities
•Develop new features and Functionality using Javascript Libraries, Angular Components and other open technologies.
•Troubleshoot and fix product bugs in existing applications.
•Design, enhance, implement and maintain SharePoint sites and applications ensuring access, reliability, availability and usability to current and new users
•Develop new SharePoint sites/sub-sites, applications and enhancements
•Contributing on team of skilled developers to create new products or new versions of an existing product.
•Developing effective software architecture, enforcing good software development principles, and providing technical oversight.
•Aid in reviewing functional and non-functional design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of professional software development experience utilizing JavaScript.
• Experience with Angular, React, Vue or other JavaScript Frameworks.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience using C#, .NET, ASP.NET, SQL, HTML, CSS
• Skilled with Relational Databases.

Preferred Qualifications
• 3+ Years experience with Microsoft SharePoint web component development.
• SharePoint server administration and configuration, performance optimization
