Data Federal is looking for an experienced and dedicated  Account Manager to join our team. This person should possess federal government sales experience, honed customer service skill and a passion for innovative business solutions. We value Managers who are passionate about growing existing accounts while proactively pursuing new accounts and identifying roadblocks and obstacles to increase business. The ideal fit will be innovative enough to suggest tailored solutions to common account problems. Dedication to growing the business and facilitating smoother connections between our prospect, customers, internal executives and teams is a must.

As an experienced Account Manager, you will manage some of our most important government accounts, contacts and projects and provide management with an accurate view, forecast and pipeline. Your deep knowledge of the Federal market, Electronic Records Management, Electronic Content Management, digital document conversion services combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities will help shape Data Federal’s Federal sector business. You should have the confidence to target, educate, and persuade new prospects and customers to use Data Federal’s Electronic Document Management and Electronic Records Management solutions, technologies, and services in new and creative ways that benefit their agencies.

Job Responsibilities
•  Target, educate, and persuade prospects and new customers to use Data Federal services and technologies in new and creative ways that benefit their agencies Electronic Records Management initiatives.
•  Cold-calling, generating new leads and prospecting accounts.
•  Close pipeline opportunities and generate new opportunities.
•  Develop and manage opportunities within the U.S. Federal Government
•  Drive pipeline creation and opportunity identification directly with prospects.
•  Nurture opportunities through qualification, process assessment and technical evaluation with product development team.
•  Drive marketing outreach/engagement for relevant audiences.
•  Analyze agency needs and develop innovative solutions.
•  Work with team members and facilitate collaboration in the workplace.
•  Set appropriate expectations with customers, prospects and management to accurately and consistently forecast and close business.

Qualifications

Qualifications
•  BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•  5+ years experience in SaaS based Document/Records Management solutions in the federal sector.
•  Experience in assessing and clearly documenting customer/prospect requirements.
•  Develop Statement of Work and pricing for services and solutions.
•  Track record of success consistently exceeding overall goals in ECM/EDM/ERM SaaS technology sales in the federal market.
•  Entrepreneurial drive and proven ability to sell creative solutions.
•  Confidence and track record of building and managing customer and prospect base.
•  Strong communications skills both with customers and with internal teams.
•  Highly effective written, presentation, and closing skills.
•  Ability to travel as needed to support customer and prospect needs.
•  Fluency in English and excellent writing skills.
•  US. Citizenship required
•  If hired, you must at minimum complete a public trust background check
•  Comfortable calling senior level prospects
•  Dynamic, high-energy, self-starter
