•Successful candidates are self driven, posses excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong work ethic, and an interest in labor and employment law.
Responsibilities for the position may include:
•Assisting in Freedom of Information Act ("FOIA") request responses from start to finish including:
•Evaluating documents produced in response to FOIA search for responsiveness and communicating with Agency counsel and employees regarding responsiveness determinations;
•Evaluating documents produced in response to FOIA search for FOIA exemptions;
•Working with Agency counsel and employees to finalize FOIA responses and send them to the requester.
•FOIA experience required
•Law degree required
•Current security clearance (public trust or higher), preferred but not required
•Federal Agency experience preferred but not required
•Ability to pass a federal background investigation
•Demonstrated interest in FOIA law
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
